It was one of the worst experiences we ever had camping , they had no public washrooms for people to use who were Camping and with two kids that was not good ,they had nothing done or ready for the kids ,but when I called they said we have kayaks and other things to rent , go karting and mining golf there was nothing ready , they had a run. Down park for the kids to play in that had broken glass every where , and it had mostly teenagers that were fighting and cursing at the younger children , was not very happy whatsoever ever we only Stayed one night , the only good thing was the beach and us leaving the park , we were here a few years ago and it was great , we heard they have new owners , I don't think they are doing there job at all..

Great place to be while on vacation. They have just about everything. And at great prices, they can't be beat. They even hold fun activity days.

Looks best from the front. Once you get in.....a different story. Many potholes in the road, uncleaned campsite - garbage, etc. And be warned - park policy seems to be 'you can make as much noise as you like until the 11 pm start of quiet time'. So, not only were we listening to generators running all day long but a few campsites away was someone who thought he was a DJ at a dance hall - extremely loud music until....you guessed it....the 11 pm shut-down. Families in the next campsite - didn't matter he told us - he was "entitled to play his music as loud as he wanted until 11 pm". Petty zoo is a disgrace - tiny, dirty enclosures for the animals. Honestly, a holstein calf that could barely turn around with the room it had! Oh, and you are expected to pay to see it. We've stayed in RV parks throughout Canada & the USA - never seen anything like this.

Visited a few times and enjoyed the lake. Little disappointed this year, the site was not clean a large amount of cigarettes butts, the fire pit was full of garbage and trash around the wooded area. We walk the park many times and also noticed alot of trash around the entrance of the park. plenty of people around that work at the park, but interest seems to be around the money makers , go carts, petting area and train etc.. No one assigned to pick up the debree. The owner is are lovely as well as the young ladies in the store. We stayed at many parks across our Beautiful Island and Lakeside is lovely but very costly , $66.56 for 2 nights with only water on site ( little costly )and still have to pay to use the pool , and pay to shower . We would recommend the park to people with kids because there are fun things to do , But would also advise them that the only free area is beach !!
